Dear Parents
The Parents and Friends of Dinnington First School would like to offer you and your child a very warm welcome to our school.
We’d like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves and explain a little about what we do. We’re a group of parents who volunteer our time in order to raise funds to spend on improving equipment and resources to enhance our children’s education and the facilities in school in general.
The majority of our funds are raised through the events that we run. Some of our most popular events are our Summer Fair, Children’s discos and our annual Easter hunt. We are also organising school calendars and fabulous Christmas cards designed by the children.
We always ensure our funds are spent in ways that will benefit all children across all areas of the school and curriculum. The money we raise is usually spent fairly quickly, so you can be sure that in supporting our school, your child/children will feel the benefit, along with everybody else.
Any parents wishing to join us at one of our meetings or to help with any of our events would be most welcome.
